But what is algae and why do we use it? Algae has been used in skincare for thousands of years and has been dubbed a ‘miracle ingredient’ and ‘the ocean’s most potent secret’. This is the food your skin has been craving! A natural antioxidant formed from different types of seaweed, this superfood is packed with Omega-3 fatty acids, other essential amino acids, proteins and a plethora of vitamins – A,B,B12, C and E. All this goodness is what detoxes and protects your skin from the free radicals (environmental, lifestyle, diet) that are known to cause premature aging.
Double-cleanse
We use natural skincare products for a double-cleanse ritual to remove make-up and the excess oil, dirt and old skin cells sitting on top of your skin and a toner to soothe, nourish and restore the delicate pH balance.
Cryotherapy on face
On your fresh, clean skin your expert therapist will deftly use a handheld jet to gently sweep cold air around your face, neck and eyes. This stimulates the blood vessels to contact and dilate in the face and neck, improving the blood and oxygen supply to this area and brightening your complexion and skin tone.
Algae face mask
Then we apply a luxury antioxidant algae face mask, full of yummy vitamins and minerals to deeply nourish the delicate skin on your face. Oh, and it smells delicious!

Scalp and neck massage
Whilst the mask sets, you’ll be treated to a scalp and neck massage to release tension and further promote blood flow and removal of waste through the lymphatic system. As well as the anti-aging cryo facial skin benefits, the stimulation on your faces relaxes the muscles that are directly attached to your skin.
Deep moisturisation
Finally, the mask is removed and a recovery cream is used for a deep moisturising ritual to soothe and hydrate your skin, leaving it silky smooth and looking plump.
